The I Hate Cartoons Animation Festival is a one of a kind show which combines an onslaught of independent animations mixed with Human Cartoon Performances.
This two hour show features animations from:
Happy Tree Friends, Dan the Automator,Milky Elephant, new films from Liam Lynch (of Sifl & Olly fame), Billy Blob, Gobler Toys, Dino Ignacio, the Skyflakes, Michael Slack, Nina Paley, Mr.Mr., Seth Arp, and 25 of the best world reknown & underground animators!
From Silly Sweet to Disturbed and Beautiful...
and just added: Films from the Bill Plympton Archives!
With captivating vaudville style performances by David Capurro, the Yo Yo King (star of the Jim Rose Cicus Reality show, as seen on
Jimmie Kimmel Live) and super special secret human cartoon guests as well as a few other suprises.
The festival is being produced by underground artist and renegade toy designer
Attaboy (www.yumfactory.com), who will also host each showing and provide giveaways for each audience. The show is being curated and compiled by Attaboy and animator Seth Arp and is suggested for (im)mature audiences.
There is some adult subject matter.
This special showing is also the premiere launch of Johnny Voodoo!: a large 13 inch cursed blue doll straight from the pages of the Gobler Toys Book and Cartoons. His Eyes Glow! Don't Look at him and his combable top knot for he is Johnny Voodoo! Available at Both showings while supplies last.
