After 4 months of the pay-per-view experiment and 4 months of
the majority of you tight-fisted freeloaders ignoring us - BORDERLINE is
free again and proving to be the most popular thing of its kind!
The management - Borderline Media Ltd - decided after nearly two
years and a peak of 130,000+ downloads during our first year that it was
time to cut back on the bandwidth, reduce the size of the storage capacity,
make the operational costs of Borderline smaller by cutting costs.
So for 3 days there has been a http 509 error! A what?
That means "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded - The server is temporarily
unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her
bandwidth limit. Please try again later."
Bummer! Especially when we're free again and wanting all of you
lovely people to download Britain's only real Quality comics magazine.
There have been literally tens of thousands of you who have downloaded #20
and by the looks of the amount of emails we're getting thousands more who
can't find it.
Well, thanks to those wonderful people at Silverbullets hosting
services, we're up and running again.
But be warned all you Dial-up and those in receipt of crappy
ISPs - #20 is a BIG one! 80-PDFed-Pages of comics goodness and ONLY
available in one size (mainly because we exceeded the PDF limit as well as
the bandwidth limit)and that weighs in at 10megabytes!
AND...
Is #20 really the last issue of BORDERLINE?
