The rumors are true, there will be a
True Porn Volume Two. Kelli Nelson and I are accepting submissions, and have set a deadline of January 1st, 2005. We are seeking solid stories, well drawn. And, of course, they must meet our two requirements: they must be autobiographical, and they must be about sex.
For those unfamiliar,
True Porn is a comic anthology of autobiographical sex stories. This handsome, square-bound, 224-page volume contains the work of 42 contributors, including James Kochalka, James Sturm, Ariel Schrag, Ivan Brunetti, Jeffrey Brown and many others. It was published in the summer of 2003, and met with popular response in both comic book shops and on the convention circuit. It is currently in its second printing.
True Porn was edited and published by Robyn Chapman and Kelli Nelson, who, frankly, don't want to self-publish again. Interested publishers ought to give them an email. For more information, please visit
