On the Saturday before Groundhog day: Come be a part of a combined showcase of local music and comic book talent!
This year's featured artists include: Eli Bishop (
An Inside Job), Anthony Hon (
Jack And Lucky), Hellen Jo (
Komisches Buch), Derek Kirk Kim (
Same Difference and Other Stories [published by Top Shelf]), Joe Sayers (
The Sky), and Xeric Grant recipient Fred Noland (
Shpilkes). The artists will have their work on display and for sale. Also, minicomics distributor Global Hobo will have a selection of hand-made comics on display.
Live music will be provided at the event by groups from opposite corners of the Bay Area: alternative rock band Audrye Sessions from Livermore, post-hardcore quartet Fight Like Fight from Santa Rosa, indie-popsters The Skyflakes from San Francisco, and closing trio Cast of Thousands from Oakland/San Francisco.
