We are working on a documentary video focusing on Pacific Northwest zines and zine culture. Interested (and able) parties should come to our next meeting (and video shooting workshop) at 5307 N Minnesota Ave. (in Portland, OR) on January 31st at 4 PM.
We are almost finished with pre-production and will start shooting in the next few weeks (until about July).
The project will be edited and wrapping up around September 2004. The focuses are "What is a zine?", "Where did they come from?", "Why make a zine?", "Making a zine & being part of a community", and "Where have zines taken us and what's next?".
