Book Release & Book Signings

Join the Cartoon Art Museum as we celebrate the release of
Spark Generators II, a comic anthology that features over two dozen cartoonists paying tribute to the creators whose works inspired them. All of the artists contributing to
Spark Generators I and II have generously donated their time and talents to this project to help the Museum in its fundraising efforts.
On Saturday, December 6, the Cartoon Art Museum will host a book signing to promote the release of
Spark Generators II and the re-release of the first
Spark Generators collection.
Spark Generators editor Jon Bean Hastings will be on hand to discuss the book and sign copies. Joining Hastings will be special guests Paige Braddock, creator of the comic "Jane's World"; Michael Jantze, creator of nationally-syndicated comic strip "The Norm"; and Keith Knight, creator of "The K Chronicles" and "th(ink)". Other artists appearing include Lee Binswanger, Jamaica Dyer, Andrew Farago, Chris Lanier, Larry Luna, Paul Madonna, Lark Pien, Jesse Reklaw and Andy Ristaino.
On December 13, Atlantis Fantasy World (1020 Cedar Street in Santa Cruz, California) will host a
Spark Generators II book signing featuring Hastings, Jamaica Dyer, Larry Luna and Paul Madonna. The event will last from 3 to 6 p.m., and proceeds from sales of
Spark Generators will benefit the Cartoon Art Museum.
Both signings are free and open to the public.
