[event:comix] BEN CATMULL RECEPTION AT CARTOON ART MUSEUM - SAN FRANCISCO, AUGUST 12
The Cartoon Art Museum will be hosting a reception for Ben Catmull, current subject of the Small Press Spotlight, on Tuesday, August 12, from 7 to 9 PM. Ben's the creator of the Xeric Grant-winning
Paper Theater and the series "Monster Parade" on
Serializer, and he's visiting the Bay Area for the first time since he moved to New York City back in April.
Admission is free, as are refreshments (white wine, Coke, Tostitos, etc.), but cash donations (which will go toward future events and receptions) won't be refused. Also on display:
