[comix] HARVEY AWARDS MOVE TO MOCCA

The
Harvey Awards, homeless this year, have found a permanent home –
MoCCA, the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art in New York. "The Harveys are part of MoCCA now," said MoCCA Chairman Lawrence Klein. Nelly Kurtzman, daughter of legendary cartoonist Harvey Kurtzman, for whom the awards are named, will be in charge of the awards committee in 2004, and is joining MoCCA as a trustee.
There will be a brief presentation at this year's MoCCA show, on June 22nd, to announce the change, with Nellie Kurtzman and current Harveycommittee chairman Denis Kitchen. Kurtzman will also present a seven-minute film which she made about her father. In 2004, the awards ceremony itself will be a part of the MoCCA show.
