[event] ALLIED MEDIA CONFERENCE, BOWLING GREEN, JUNE 13-15
The Allied Media Conference will be June 13-15 in Bowling Green, Ohio. If you were there last year, you know that it just might be the biggest, most enjoyable weekend of cross-media collaboration there is. It's a chance to learn new skills, share your experiences, and build networks. The emphasis is on making our own media, not reforming the mainstream system.
Independent art and media makers and supporters will be out in force at the conference, including street artists, hip hop activists, zinemakers, newspapers, videographers, microcinemas, radio, culturejammers, cartoonists, hip hop, street artists, and radical cheerleading. Last year, almost one thousand people from 36 states and Canada showed up. Now it's your turn to represent.
